OK, so I can't say enough... Lenny and Joe's is by far, no were in the vicinity of anyone else! We came from lower Fairfield county and OMG!!! Amazing, stupendous, most delicious seafood hands down, game over, mic drop etcetera etc! The Lobster Bisque was just unspeakably delicious (insert adjectives...lol) And the fried whole belly clams were so big and tasty. The oysters were like velvet. None of it was greasy and the portions were great. Even the onion rings were special; light and sweet. So so so worth the trip. Highly, highly recommended!

I grew up going to this place and they never disappoint. I hadn't been in a while because, after my husband died, restaurants didn't much interest me. Plus this place is a little bittersweet for me because of time spent there with my husband and parents, who have also passed. So happy I went with a visiting friend last night. It was like going home. Great memories from over the years came flooding back. I live in town, but a lot of my inland family and friends will drive down to the shore just to eat here. It's that kind of place. Beyond the atmosphere there is, of course, the food. I wanted fish and chips and around here that means Lenny & Joe's to me. I always get the haddock. Absolute perfection. Big portions. Incredible cole slaw too. The staff is super friendly and attentive and my friend even bought me one of their sweatshirts for my birthday. Nice addition for my collection of shirts of theirs from over the years. I'll be going back for takeout soon. If you want seafood, this is the place to go. Quality, quantity, price, atmosphere and service. A all the way around. Pick up a shirt on your way out, too. They always have fun graphics and they're great quality for a terrific price. I still wear ones from over a decade ago.

Outstanding customer service from start to finish! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The food was also really good—fresh and flavorful. The lobster roll was absolutely perfect—generous portions of tender lobster with just the right seasoning. The shrimp sandwich was also very tasty and well-prepared. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Staff were friendly. It was busy, but our food arrived hot. Everything tasted good, but I think that 19.99 for the fried clam strips dinner might have been a little over-priced in respect to the portion size. Also, they didn’t taste as fresh as some of the other times when I’ve ordered fried clams. Taste was 7 out of 10. I like Lenny & Joe’s Fishtale though, and I’d go again.

Fantastic fried seafood (lightly battered and not oily) and super friendly staff make this one of my favorite places to eat now. Lunch and dinner specials and huge portions even on the 2-3 combo meals make it more affordable. We had a 2 combo seafood meal, an order of (2) seafood tacos, and two big bowls of fish chowder, and our meal came up to 50 after tax, for a party of 3 with leftovers to take home. Get the zucchini fries as a substitute for a side!

Food was quick and delicious. It was more food than I expected, though. Not a bad thing. I got the pick 4 platter with cod, Haddock, shrimp and whole clams, Cole slaw and steamed veggies. It was all delicious! Fish was lightly battered and super flaky and light. I really enjoyed it. I expected 4-5 clams, and got 10-12, plus 5-6 shrimp and big chunks of Haddock. The upcharge got whole clams (3.50) is worth it!

Always FANTASTIC. The bartender gives friendly, excellent service. The seafood is always the freshest around. Highly recommend you go here!
